The Working Garden Studio is a landscape design studio founded on the principle that beauty takes investment. And that with hard work should come great rewards. 

We believe in working smarter. By harnessing the natural functions of the environment, by using appropriate plantings and designing systems that build on what nature already provides, our gardens can work for us. Meshing these goals is an art that takes years of training and dedication.

From edible landscapes to rain gardens, green roofs and walls, from native and sustainable plantings to using locally sourced and renewable building materials, we can create the lush, natural retreat that lets you enjoy the fruits of your labor. Your garden should work as hard for you as you do for it.
